Our institute has a well equipped workshop that provides area as well as tools and machineries required for conducting practical classes. Workshop practice is common to all branches and it is considered as the heart of our institute. Our workshop also possesses the required tools and equipments necessary for the manufacturing or repairing of goods. It provides all the required facilities to the students during their project works. The staffs are well qualified and skilled enough to guide students throughout their journey.

Following are the well equipped shops in the Workshop to cater the needs of the diploma students:

To strive in preparing diploma mechanical engineers with core knowledge, basic skills and professional ethics in order to cope with the ever changing industrial demands and social needs.

MISSION

  1. To provide students the basic knowledge by imparting quality education in the area of Mechanical Engineering.

  2. To enhance practical skills by providing hands on practice on different machine tools.

  3. To develop humane, socio-ethical values and entrepreneurship qualities among Mechanical engineering students

DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)- Diploma

PO1.Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
